Tykee Ogle-Kellogg is a name making its way to recruiting boards all over.
The Alcoa (Tenn.) High School junior isn't far from having a double-digit number of scholarship offers, including one from the No. 5 team in the nation and one from a Southeastern Conference program.
Ogle-Kellogg put his talents on display Friday night, scoring on passes from 19 and 28 yards out to help the Tornadoes win the TSSAA Class 3A, Region 2 championship with a 45-0 win over Christian Academy of Knoxville.
Alcoa (9-1) hosts Unicoi County (5-5) in the opening round of the TSSAA Class 3A state playoffs on Nov. 4 at 7 p.m. Eastern.
The 6-foot-5, 195-pounder stepped up on Sept. 9 in the premier game of the regular season by catching nine passes for 182 yards and two touchdowns in a 14-point loss to Maryville.
As a sophomore, Ogle-Kellogg reeled in 22 catches for 465 yards and nine TDs.
The seven schools to come with offers are Austin Peay, Central Michigan, Louisville, Memphis, Middle Tennessee, South Carolina and Texas-San Antonio. Clemson, Louisiana State and Virginia Tech are three programs showing interest.
