The Yorktown, Va., native earned All-SEC honors in 1987 and was a featured member of the Vols famed "Orange Crunch" defense that helped capture the 1985 SEC Championship and upset No.2 Miami in the Sugar Bowl. He ranks tied for seventh in all-time sacks at Tennessee with 19.
Hovanic joins Vol Network
Hovanic, who played at Tennessee from 1985-87, will be the featured football analyst on the Vol Network's "The Final Scoreboard" show along with John Wilkerson and Jeff Jacoby. "The Final Scoreboard" immediately follows "The Phillip Fulmer Dressing Room Show" after each game on the Vol Network and serves as the final recap to the network's six hours of non-stop football coverage.
