Saturday provided the opportunity for a number of young defensive players to gain more game-time reps and display their capabilities on the field.

Tennessee defensive coordinator Bob Shoop spoke about what he saw in some of the youngsters this past weekend such as Nigel Warrior and how he sees them gaining confidence, as well as the benefit of having some experienced players back in the game such as Darrin Kirkland Jr., plus much more.

"We ended up playing Nigel (Warrior) the majority of the second half — I think he ended up being our leading tackler." Shoop said.  "He won our orange Swarm Award this week, which we're very excited about. He's a work in progress. He's very, very talented and he's going to be a great player."
