4-star Vol target Trevis Hopper elated to win Mr. Football

Scout four-star and Tennessee target Trevis Hopper was named TSSAA Mr. Football in the 5A lineman category on Monday. Watch the interview with the defensive tackle in the video above to hear about his excitement in receiving the honor.

NASHVILLE — Trevis Hopper is only a sophomore, but his standout skillset landed the 6-foot-3, 260-pound defensive tackle the honor of being named TSSAA Mr. Football Class 5A Lineman of the Year on Monday at Nissan Stadium. 

InsideTennessee spoke with the Tennessee target from Memphis Central High School after the awards ceremony. 

"I'm very excited, I'm still excited," the Scout four-star said. "It just happened so fast. I almost grabbed the runner-up trophy!"
