NASHVILLE — Ty Chandler lugged home another monstrous Mr. Football trophy on Monday afternoon.
Chandler and Montgomery Bell Academy have been a well-oiled machine, reaching the TSSAA Division II Class AA state championship three years in a row. The Scout 100 talent gives credit to his offensive line.
"If they weren't doing a good job, I wouldn't be as successful as I am," Chandler said.
Chandler's prep career comes to an end Thursday night as the Big Red take on Brentwood Academy in the state final for the second straight year.
"I just love being out there and being able to compete with other guys that love the game like I do," Chandler said.
