Four of the premier private school teams in the Volunteer State fought it out for a pair of gold balls Thursday.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. — The first two gold balls of championship week were handed over Thursday night.

Lausanne Collegiate took down Webb Knoxville 12-9 for its school's first TSSAA Division II Class A state title. Then, Brentwood Academy scored with 25 seconds to play to lift past Montgomery Bell Academy 52-38 in Division II Class AA.
