BA's Camron Johnson comes up clutch, again

Camron Johnso's quickly developing a knack for performing when Brentwood Academy needs him the most.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. — With his team trailing by four points and less than two minutes left in the TSSAA Divison II Class AA state championship, Camron Johnson needed to come up with a play.

The Brentwood Academy wide receiver went up across the middle over Montgomery Bell Academy defenders and came down with a 39-yard gain on a "busted play." That set up the game-winning score three plays later and the Eagles captured their second straight gold ball and 12th in program history.

The Scout four-star prospect from the 2018 class finished the finale with six catches for 156 yards, including a 67-yard touchdown. He also tallied five tackles (three solo).

See what Johnson said about his team's second consecutive gold ball, his interest in the Tennessee Vols, upcoming plans and much more in the exclusive video interview with InsideTennessee above.
