Championship Clips: Ty Chandler as a senior

Watch Ty Chandler compete in a state championship in his last football game for Montgomery Bell Academy.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. — Ty Chandler's 4-yard touchdown run with 2:05 on the clock in the fourth quarter looked like it may be enough to give Montgomery Bell Academy its second gold ball in three years.

It wasn't meant to be as Brentwood Academy went 80 yards in 100 seconds to win the TSSAA Division II Class AA state championship 42-38 on Dec. 1.

The Scout four-star running back prospect did all he could for the Big Red, running for 218 yards and three TDs on 31 carries in spite of the Eagles defense crowding the box to slow down the future Tennessee Volunteer.
