WINTER GARDEN, Fla. — Michael Penix Jr. doesn't have a college destination.
"Yeah, I'm really wide open," the junior quarterback told InsideTennessee.
Penix camped at Tennessee last summer and received a scholarship offer. Mike Canales has since taken over as the Vols quarterbacks coach, and he's staying in touch with the signal-caller.
"I hear from them almost every day," the Scout three-star prospect said.
Florida State, Oregon and South Florida are some of the other programs expressing interest in the Tampa native.
The southpaw discussed when he's coming back to Tennessee, what he plans to get out of that return trip, how he performed at the Under Armour Combine on Sunday and more in the video above.
