Jaylon King names programs turning his head

Some programs are recruiting Jaylon King harder than others. Get the latest from the Nashville-based defensive back.

BUFORD, Ga. — Jaylon King sees quite a bit of orange in his life. Not only is it primary color of his high school, but he's also hearing plenty from the Tennessee Volunteers.

"Tennessee is the school that I hear from the most and there's Ole Miss and Memphis falling behind," King told InsideTennessee.

Two programs that have the Ensworth (Tenn.) School defensive back interested alongside the Volunteers are Georgia Tech and Louisville.

A declaration could come prior to his final season of prep football. He was last on Rocky Top for a junior day on March 4 and plans to return on April 22.

The 5-foot-11, 170-pounder is fresh off gauging his ability against some elite receivers at The Opening Atlanta on Sunday.

"I think I competed well, I mean I won most of my reps out there," King said.
