NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Adonis Otey pulled the trigger on a commitment to Tennessee on Thursday. Since then, he's been the subject of a whirlwind of congratulations.
"It's been crazy," Otey told InsideTennessee. "My phone has been blowing up a lot lately. It's just been an unreal experience."
The sophomore cornerback selected the Volunteers over finalists Florida, Louisville and Louisiana State.
The Scout four-star prospect said he picked Tennessee because it is "close to home, and I feel like it's the perfect fit for me." First-year Vols offensive line coach Walt Wells works a large portion of the Volunteer State for talent and was "excited" to hear the news.
