Tennessee's football team will play its third consecutive 7:45 kickoff when the Vols host Georgia Oct. 11 at Neyland Stadium. The broadcast rights have been picked up by ESPN, which will air the game on ESPN2.
Tennessee played South Carolina
at 7:45 last Saturday and plays Auburn
at 7:45 this Saturday.
The Vols and Georgia have met annually since divisional
play began in 1992 and UT leads the all-time series 17-13-2.
Tennessee won nine consecutive meetings with Georgia between 1989 and '99 but the Dawgs have swept the last three contests. Phillip Fulmer's record is 8-3 against
the Bulldogs, who won last year's game 18-13 in Athens.
Other SEC teams slated for television Oct. 11 include Auburn at Arkansas on
the Jefferson-Pilot regional game (11:30 a.m. Central) and Florida at LSU
on CBS (2:30 p.m. Central).
