Chase Patton is one of the most highly coveted quarterbacks that remains uncommitted. He has set up all five of his visits, and he will be taking a close look at one of the schools in the SEC.
"I'm going to UCLA this weekend," said Patton. "I'm going to
Tennessee (11-21), Iowa (12-5), Missouri (12-12), and Kansas State (12-19). I
went to Iowa/Michigan for an unofficial visit, and I've been to every Missouri
home game so far this year."
When asked about Tennessee, Patton said he liked the way the depth chart is
shaking out for next season.
"I will have the chance to come in and compete immediately. I also had a chance
to come in during the summer and visit Tennessee for a one day camp. I spent
some time with Coach Sanders (Randy Sanders), and he made a very big impression
Patton's season has come to a conclusion with his team finishing 8-2 and passing
for 2,600 yards and 30 touchdowns, but his recruiting season will officially
begin this weekend at UCLA.
