Big Phil Trautwein made the trip from New Jersey to Knoxville last weekend for an official visit with the Volunteers. We caught up with him and he talked about his trip to Tennessee.
"I had a great trip to Tennessee this weekend," said Trautwein. "I got to go to the locker room before the game, and it was very intense. Coach Fulmer talked to me about coming in and possibly contributing early because of some losses on the offensive line."
Trautwein has already been on two official visits before Tennessee, and he has two more scheduled. How are his leaders stacking up?
"I've already been to Michigan State and Boston College. My last two visits will come down to Virginia, Virginia Tech, Rutgers and Maryland. Michigan State and Tennessee are my two favorites right now."
Trautwein has been a machine on the offensive line. He has not given up a sack in three years, and he has graded out at 92% on the season. He is the prototypical offensive tackle.
