Parker eyes Nebraska

A late push by new Nebraska coach Bill Callahan is complicating Tennessee's bid to land a quality offensive line prospect.

Anthony Parker, a 6-foot-4, 280-pound Georgian, already visited UT, North Carolina State, Maryland and Indiana. With one visit left, he may be visiting Lincoln this weekend. He's had preliminary contact with Cornhusker coaches suggesting he visit but nothing has been finalized.

''If they call and say it's set up, yeah, I'll go,'' Anthony told TheInsiders network. ''Their offense fits what I do, so it would be interested to take a look.''

Parker is believed to favor N.C. State and Tennessee, but he isn't ruling out the possibility of a late entry such as Nebraska winning his services.

''It's always possible,'' he said. ''You never know what you might see and it could be a great experience, but I have to visit to see for myself.''
