With two-year starter Troy Fleming out of eligibility, Tennessee is in desperate need of a young fullback to groom. Two of UT's reserve fullbacks (Aaron Kirkland and Ruben Mayes) left the program last season, so the Vols have just one scholarship fullback currently on the roster -- converted linebacker Will Revill.
Assuming Holbert follows through and picks Tennessee, he projects to split time with Revill in 2004.
