UT in Brown's final three

Tennessee's quest to sign another defensive tackle just took a positive turn.

After cancelling last weekend's scheduled visit to Alabama -- the Tide already filled its line needs -- Neil Brown has narrowed his list to three schools.

''It's Tennessee, Auburn, or Duke,'' Brown told Scott Kennedy of TheInsiders.com. ''I have a couple of days to really sit down with my parents and make a decision. I don't know what I am going to do yet.''

Brown was a dominating force for Buford (Ga.) High's defensive front last fall, helping the 15-0 Wolves run their win streak to 45 games. The 6-foot-1, 248-pounder registered 84 tackles (eight for lost yardage) and three sacks. As a junior, he recorded 124 tackles, four sacks and two fumble recoveries.

Tennessee also remains in the running for two more prime D-tackle prospects -- Marque Hall (Marshall, N.C.) and Fred Bledsoe (Little Rock, Ark).
