Today, I am going to show you why he is being recruited by most of the top schools in the south in this highlight reel from his junior season.

Patrick Turner is a 6-5 wide receiver that plays at 6-5. He doesn't let the ball get into his body, negating his height advantage. He uses his hands to catch everything possible, and he extends his long arms to meet the ball.

While he is the tallest player on the field, he is still able to go low to catch the ball. He has excellent footwork and can make a defender miss once he has the ball in his hands. At 210 pounds, he is a load to bring down once he is finally caught.

He has excellent field awareness and can make the tough grab on the sidelines. He will also go over the middle to catch the ball. He can withstand punishment as well as dole it out. He runs very good routes. Pay particular attention to the very last clip in which he runs a quick out, up, and curl into the back of the endzone and presents his quarterback with a huge target.

Turner is a lock to make the 1st Team All-South for the Class of 2005.

See why for yourself:

#88 Patrick Turner
