Back From Knoxville
"My trip to Knoxville was great…the crowd was ridiculous. The noise, the atmosphere and all that orange, it was awesome," said Chris Scott.
"That was my first unofficial visit to a game this year and I really enjoyed it. I got there right before the game, so I didn't get to do much before the game. After the game was over, I talked to all the Tennessee Coaches (including Coach Fulmer) and then hung out with some players (former high school teammate Anthony Parker). The overall trip went very well."
Talking to Scott in the past few months, he always had Nebraska and Georgia atop his list, is that still the case?
"All schools are really equal right now. I can't really say I am favoring one school over the others. I know I will visit Nebraska (Dec.10th), Georgia, LSU (Dec.17th) and Mississippi State for sure. Those four schools will definitely get visits and the fifth has come down to Tennessee or Florida. I am not sure how I will decide out of those two, but I am heading down to a Florida game in the next few weeks and maybe that will help."
"One thing I am thinking about is moving some of my official visits up, so I can see everything at once. I would like to see the game, the atmosphere, stadium and all that at one time. I may move up my LSU visit and I am thinking about visiting Georgia when they play Georgia Tech."
Since September first, Scott's phone has rang off the hook. Who are some of the teams he has spoken to?
" I have spoken to all of my top six schools and then some other teams, like Oklahoma, Georgia Tech, Ole Miss and more. I have missed a lot of calls too."
What schools have already been out to watch Scott perform this year?
"I believe about eight or nine coaches have been around. The only one that I can remember is Coach Garner of Georgia."
Chris Scott originally was going to take all his visits after the season, but now that has changed. With Scott moving his visits up, that could lead to an earlier decision. Make sure you stay right here with us at TheInsiders.com for all the latest on this Top Peach State OL.
