1st Visit and 2 Leaders for Top RB

James Davis, one of the top backs in the South, is in the middle of leading Douglass High School towards a region championship and also starting to set up his official visits. Davis has now set his first official with an ACC school and looks to set up the other four visits shortly. Who has Davis set up a visit with and who are his two leaders?

"I have my first official visit set up with Virginia Tech," James Davis said.

"It will be on November 27th. That is the only visit I have set up at this time."

Who else does Davis plan to visit?

"Tennessee for sure and I am not sure of the others. Virginia Tech and Tennessee are my leaders right now. I will decide between Georgia Tech, LSU, Auburn, Alabama, Clemson and Georgia on who gets the other three visits."

Virginia Tech will get a visit during their last game of the year, but Davis plans to take the remaining visits after the season is over.

"I may take in a few unofficial visits if I can, but all the other official visits will be after the season."

Davis is coming off a good game against Redan. He had 217 yards on 23 carries with two touchdowns in their win last week. Davis now has 1,396 yards on the season with 17 touchdowns through eight games. Davis will lead the Astros up against Riverdale this Saturday for the 2-AAAAA Region Championship.

James Davis will be able to name the school he wants to sign with this February. Scout.com will keep you up to date on all the visits and then the commitment of this Peach State running back.
