KNOXVILLE - The Tennessee football team went through their paces inside the Neyland Thompson Sports Complex on Tuesday afternoon. Although the Vols have already sewn up a spot in this year's SEC Championship Game, head coach Phillip Fulmer isn't letting his team take Kentucky lightly.
is a dangerous football team," Fulmer said. "The quarterbacks are talented, athletic and throw the football well."
Fulmer seems to like his quarterback, too.
"I want to talk about how well Rick Clausen has done," Fulmer said. "If we're not all careful, we'll under-appreciate him and his stepping up as our quarterback."
On the injury front, UT was still without Michael Munoz and Cody Douglas on the offensive line. Douglas does not expect to play on Saturday.
Jason Respert practiced, but not with the first team. Chuck Prugh worked out at center in Respert's absence. Richie Gandy was at right guard in place of Douglas. Arron Sears practiced at left tackle with Munoz being out of the line-up.
Roshaun Fellows was missing in action for the second consecutive day, too. He is slowed by a foot injury that has him in a walking boot.
On the recruiting trail, Jonathan Crompton, who has verbally committed to Tennessee was in town on Tuesday. He was spotted at practice talking with Erik Ainge on the sidelines.
