"I just felt more comfortable there. I like the ability of the coaching staff. Coach Fulmer, Coach Atkins and Coach Stephens were all offensive line coaches. With that much coaching, you're set up for success," Chris Scott said.
Scott feels his time in Knoxville will best prepare him to succeed in pro football.
"They do a great job of getting players to the next level. They have a great strength program with Coach Long. He does a great job of getting their players ready to play on Saturdays."
Scott felt comfortable with his future teammates there as well.
"I have a former teammate there in Anthony Parker and I got to know a lot of the guys and players up there. I feel very comfortable around them."
The commitment of this big 1st team All-South OL will just solidify Tennessee at the top of the national rankings on Scout.com.
