McClendon Returns to Action

Tennessee fans concerned about an earlier reported injury to Vol commitment Jacques McClendon can relax, as the big guy is back on his feet and participating in an afternoon practice in San Antonio.

McClendon 6-3, 275, 5.1, who is rated No. 11 among the nation's offensive linemen and the only Tennessee commitment participating in the game, rolled his ankle during a morning practice and his return was in question. To the considerable relief of Big Orange fans, he was fully engaged in the afternoon workout and displayed no ill effects from the injury, according to Scout.com sources at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl preparations.

Other players Tennessee is recruiting that are playing in the game include: Clifton Geathers (OL), Stafon Johnson (RB), Jarrell Miller (LB), Mitch Mustain (QB) and Andre Smith (OL) among others.

Inside Tennessee will be bringing our readers reports on these and other prospects as activities in San Antonio continue through the week.
