Fulmer said the offensive team members might be feeling the heat after another round of defensive triumphs in Thursday's game action.
"Today's situational scrimmage was pretty much dominated by the defense," Fulmer said. "(There were) some plays that were there, some throws that weren't quite there or were dropped. If we make those, it's probably a good day or at least a decent day.
"We haven't found that niche just yet to be able to finish drives. The first drive today we took it the length of the field, stopped ourselves and then missed the field goal. We're still working to be consistent on offense."
The Vols have an 11-day break before returning to the field March 28 for the first of four practice dates that week. UT has just six overall practice dates remaining before the EdAmerica Orange and White Game, scheduled for April 8 at Neyland Stadium.
