UT duo honored ... sort of

It probably isn't much consolation, but two former Tennessee football players have been named to Collegefootballnews.com's All-Undrafted Team. They weren't first-teamers, though.

Gerald Riggs was listed in the best of the rest category at running back behind Dontrell Moore of New Mexico and Taurean Henderson of Texas Tech.

Vol teammate Albert Toeaina was one of a host of SEC players listed among the best of the rest offensive linemen. The others were Florida's Randy Hand, South Carolina's Jabari Levey, Florida's Lance Butler and LSU's duo of Nate Livings and Rudy Niswonger. Notable in their absence were UT's Rob Smith and Cody Douglas.

Florida's Mike Degory was one of five first-team offensive linemen on the All-Undrafted Team. He was the only SEC player accorded a first-team berth at any position.

Other SEC players who earned best of the rest recognition were:

Vanderbilt's Moses Osemwegie and Auburn's Travis Williams at linebacker; Auburn's T.J. Jackson at defensive line, Florida's Dallas Baker, Vanderbilt's Erik Davis and Auburn's Ben Obomanu as receiver; LSU's David Jones at tight end.

The All-Undrafted Teams were selected by CFN.com's Richard Cirminiello.
