Haislip Scores 24 for Bucks

Ex-Vol Marcus Haislip is off to a good start for the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA's Orlando Professional Summer League.

After scoring 24 points in the Bucks' first two games combined, Haislip scored 24 points Thursday to lead Milwaukee to a 92-73 defeat of the Orlando Magic.

Haislip, a 6-foot-10 power forward who was the 13th pick in the recent NBA draft, connected on 7-of-11 from the field and 4-of-5 from three-point distance against the Magic. In addition to his 24 points, he also recorded six rebounds, an assist and a blocked shot in 30 minutes of action.

Haislip scored 15 points in his pro debut (a 93-75 loss to Miami on July 7) and scored nine points in a 69-67 loss to Detroit on July 10.
