When I began to watch the wide receivers I noticed two orange, defensive jersies catching passes. I knew one had to be Baker. The other turned out to be... number 10 Mark Jones. Baker and Jones looked very happy to be getting an opportunity to show some play making ability. On one particular play, Baker went up and over Corey Larkins for a nice reception. There was a good amount of rust visible between the two players catching the football.
"It is going to be hard for the two guys to balance their defensive assignments with their offensive roll," Coach Fulmer said. "The hardest part for them will be in the meeting rooms more than on the field. We will try to work out something for them pertaining to a green jersey, but that will have to happen between now and tomorrow."
In other practice notes, Derrick Tinsley worked about 80 percent of his time at wide receiver. After all of the attention Tinsley has gotten for saying he is a tailback, he looked very comfortable catching the ball. Tinsley is definitley going to add a homerun threat to the position. Tony Brown is slowly healing his shoulder and continues to improve the receiving part of his game.
Wesley Holmes looked very good at defensive tackle. Holmes is going to see many reps in the Tuesday scrimmage and he appears to be a major backup should Rashad Moore not be able to compete like they would hope.
Here is a list of guys who sat out Monday nights practice and a guess at the amount of time they are looking at missing:

DB Steven Marsh(unknown)
DT Rashad Moore(week-two weeks)
OG Chavis Smith(unknown at this time)
OT Brandon Jefferies(day-to-day)
