SEC Ratings

Florida's 21-14 defeat of Florida State and Arkansas's 31-26 loss to LSU enabled the Gators to leapfrog the Razorbacks and reclaim the No. 1 spot in this week's SEC Ratings. The two teams should put on quite a show when they meet Saturday in Atlanta for the league title.

With all of the SEC's regular-season games now in the books, here are this week's ratings:

1.FLORIDA (8.5): Chris Leak completed 21 of 34 passes for 283 yards and two touchdowns as the Gators moved to 11-1 by beating Florida State 21-14.

2.ARKANSAS (8.5): Darren McFadden ran for 182 yards and Felix Jones for 137 but the Razorbacks saw their 10-game winning streak end in a 31-26 loss to LSU.

3.LSU (8.5) JaMarcus Russell completed 14 of 22 passes for 210 yards and a pair of touchdowns as the Tigers tripped Arkansas 31-26 in Little Rock.

4.TENNESSEE (7.5): The Vols stand 9-3 after sleepwalking throughout a 17-12 defeat of defensively challenged Kentucky.

5.SOUTH CAROLINA (7.0): Blake Mitchell completed 23 of 36 passes for 268 yards as the Gamecocks rang up 492 total yards in a 31-28 upset of a Clemson team that had not allowed more than 332 total yards all season.

6.AUBURN (7.0): The 10-2 Tigers were idle.

7.GEORGIA (6.5): The Bulldogs needed a four-yard touchdown pass from Matthew Stafford to Mohamed Massaquoi with 1:45 left to overcome Georgia Tech 15-12.

8.KENTUCKY (6.0): Rafael Little finished an injury-plagued regular season with a flourish, rushing 23 times for 119 yards in the Big Blue's 17-12 loss to Tennessee.

9.VANDERBILT (5.5): The Commodores were idle.

10.ALABAMA (5.5): The Crimson Tide was idle but fired head coach Mike Shula over the weekend.

11.OLE MISS (5.0): BenJarvus Green-Ellis finished the season with 999 rushing yards after gaining just 37 in a 20-17 defeat of Mississippi State.

12.MISSISSIPPI STATE (4.5): Anthony Dixon ran for 125 yards but it wasn't enough as the Bulldogs suffered a season-ending 20-17 loss to Ole Miss.
