McNeil, Coker are Frosh A-A picks

Two of the Tennessee football team's brightest young prospects, tailback LaMarcus Coker and center Josh McNeil, have been recognized by The Sporting News as members of the 2006 SEC All-Freshman Team.

LaMarcus Coker finished the regular season as the leading freshman rusher and seventh overall among SEC ball-carriers with an average of 66.0 yards per game (660 yards). An Antioch native, he already owns two of the four longest runs (89, 87) in UT history despite playing in just 10 games because of a knee sprain.

Josh McNeil made his collegiate starting debut in the season's fourth game and never relinquished the role. The Vols allowed only 17 sacks - third-fewest in the league - against 378 pass attempts - second-most in the league. A Collins, Miss., product, McNeil appeared in every game this year except one.
