Four UT commits on Scout top 100

Four players who have committed to play college football for Tennessee grace the new national Top 100 released by Moreover, the Vols are still in the running for a few more elite prospects.

The four UT commitments are:

- Eric Berry, a 6-0, 194-pound cornerback from Fairburn, Ga.

- Ben Martin, a 6-5, 225-pound defensive end from Cincinnati

- Chris Donald, a 6-3, 220-pound linebacker from Huntington, TN.

-Gerald Jones, a 6-1, 190-pound receiver from Oklahoma City.

Berry, son of former Vol running back James Berry, checks in at No. 7 on Scout's top 100 list. Martin is rated No. 21, Donald No. 47 and Jones No. 75.

Tennessee remains in the hunt for defensive tackle Marvin Austin of Washington D.C., rated No. 3 among the nation's recruits by Scout.

The Vols also are still pitching for No. 34 Carlos Dunlap, a 6-6, 240-pound defensive end from North Charleston, S.C., No. 67 Ahmad Paige, a 6-2, 165-pound receiver from Sterlington, La., No. 70 Stefoin Francois, a 6-0, 190-pound safety from Reserve, La., and No. 80 Lennon Creer, a 6-0, 190-pound running back from Creer, Texas.
