Tuesday Practice Report

Tennessee is all-go for the Florida Gators on September 21. The Vols didn't practice as long on Tuesday as they normally do, but they have accomplished a great deal towards learning the Gators new attack scheme.

"Glad to get Middle Tennessee out of the way," Coach Fulmer said on Tuesday. "We are glad to have the off-week because we will be able to rest some guys that might not be able to play if the game was this Saturday."

The Vols rested several players on Tuesday mostly due to "game bumps." Michael Muñoz, Tony Brown, Omari Hand and Kelley Washington all went lightly on Tuesday. All excluding Washington were just healing up from a physical game on Saturday night.

When asked about Washington's return, the head man had this to say: "Well everything is going to depend on what the doctors tell us. I can assure you we will not overwork him this week and hopefully he will be back out here next week."

Tennessee coaches don't have a complete idea of which players will be at risk of not playing next Saturday yet. That should come at the middle of next week. The Vols will practice on Wednesday and Thursday of this week before breaking for the weekend.
