Fighting the Florida hangover

Rutgers poses little threat to Tennessee this weekend ... unless the Vols have failed to put the disappointment of last Saturday's 30-13 loss to Florida behind them.

Asked how much the Florida hangover lingers, tight end Jason Witten replied: ''I think most of the guys are over it. It was tough. We felt kinda bad for ourselves Saturday night and Sunday, but you can't do that. You've just got to bounce back.

''If we take care of business, we realize everything should be OK. You've just got to learn from it and move on. You can't really wait around or somebody will jump up and beat you.''

Still, how do you get up for a 42-point underdog like Rutgers?

''You just think about how bad it felt last week, when you sat in that locker room and all of our journeys had been shot down,'' Vol offensive tackle Will Ofenheusle said. ''That's all the motivation you need.''
