Betsy McAllister joins Lady Vols

University of Tennessee Lady Volunteer head basketball coach Pat Summitt announced that Betsy McAllister has joined her staff in the capacity as video coordinator.

"I am really excited to bring Betsy on board," said Tennessee Head Coach Pat Summitt. "Obviously, she has a wealth of experience in the NBA, WNBA, and college basketball working with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Rockers and Florida State University. We feel fortunate that she will be on our staff and we look forward to the expertise she will bring to our program."

For the past year, McAllister has been at Florida State where she served as the video coordinator for the women's basketball team. Prior to that time, she worked for Cleveland Cavaliers and the Cleveland Rockers in the capacity as Event Information Coordinator (1998-2002) and as the Team Video Coordinator from 2001-06.

McAllister earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Michigan University in 1997. She fills the position of Lady Vol Video Coordinator previously held by Angel Elderkin who left in June to join the University of Virginia women's basketball staff as an assistant coach.
