"Practice was really good today," Coach Fulmer said this afternoon. "We are proud of the intensity the team showed on Saturday night." There are still some Vols that need to heal up before Saturday. Even though Coach Fulmer didn't release the status of the injured, there were a few names that seem doubtful for this weekend.
Anthony Herrera missed practice on Monday and he is likely to miss the game this weekend. Herrera injured his knee on Saturday night early in the game and missed the entire second half. Fulmer said Herrera was "doubtful" at this point.
Cedric Houston didn't dress out on Monday either. He still has the soft cast on his left hand from his thumb surgery last week to repair damaged ligaments. Houston is still in the 10-day, no contact window that doctors set for him last week. There is still an outside chance Houston plays on Saturday.
Alex Walls is still questionable for the Georgia game. His hamstring is apparently still bothering him and coaches most assuredly want him to be as close to 100 percent as possible when he goes back to kicking the ball.
All others that left the field injured on Saturday night, where back at practice on Monday. Eddie Moore has a class on Mondays and was absent, but he will return on Tuesday. The team will release an official injury report on Thursday, until then it is mostly speculation.
