Thursday Afternoon Practice Report

Tennessee players and coaches have been very focused this week. Players have been very intense, coaches have been very intense and the injured have been... well injured.

"We had a good workout today," Phillip Fulmer said following practice. "The kids are really into this football game and it should be a heck of a game. There aren't many times in the last several years where we have played as an underdog and in most cases we have responded well." Fulmer seemed much happier with Thursday's practice as opposed to yesterday. The team did seem more into the practice and was more in tune to the gameplan.

Michael Munoz was released from the hospital today after a bout with an infection in his leg. Fulmer said Michael is very questionable right now. Fulmer said he has watched film of the South Carolina game and film of Miami this week while he was in the hospital. Fulmer said Munoz has played with so many injuries that it wouldn't surprise him if Michael plays on Saturday.

Anthony Herrera saw a lot of action this week at left tackle with Munoz in the hospital. Herrera should see extensive action at tackle on Saturday if Munoz is unable to play.

Jabari Davis practiced today. Coach Fulmer said he hopes Jabari will be 100 percent by Saturday.

The Vols have finished their week of practice. They will have a dress rehearsal in Neyland Stadium. The Vol walk will begin about 1:30 on Saturday and kickoff will be at approximately 3:30.
