One of South Carolina's top high school prospects has a lot of interest in the University of Tennessee.

InsideTennessee.com spoke to Manning High School defensive back Johnovan Fulton earlier in the week to gage his interest in the Volunteer Football program.

"I have a lot of interest in Tennessee," Fulton said. "I love it there. Tennessee will have a chance to play for a National Champion in the very near future."

Fulton, a 6-foot-1, 185-pound corner back who runs a 4.4 forty, currently has offers from Tennessee, Alabama, South Carolina, Clemson, Florida, Georgia, Maryland and NC State.

It appears that the admiration that Fulton has for Tennessee is mutual.

"They are real big on me right now," Fulton said. "They seem like that they like me more than anyone else at this point. I love the way they are recruiting me."

While Fulton won't name an early favorite it appears that the Vols are currently in his top three schools.

"Tennessee, South Carolina and Alabama in no certain order, " Fulton said."I don't really have an early favorite."

Fulton plans on graduating in December so he hopes to have a final decision before fall camp begins.

One thing that Fulton plans on doing is attending one of Tennessee's summer camps.

"Right now I'm planning on attending one of their 1 Day camps," Fulton said. "I'm excited about getting to know their coaching staff and the current players."

Fulton is currently rated as a four star prospect by Scout.com.
