One Georgia high school football prospect has so many official offers he has stopped counting.

That doesn't mean Markeith Ambles doesn't care or knows who has offered him a football scholarship; he can quickly name the ones that are on his mind the most.

"Name a school and they have probably offered," Ambles told InsideTennessee.com. "It's been a very humbling experience, having some of the top schools in the country wanting me to play football for them."

It appears that Ambles is one of Tennessee's top targets at wide receiver, is the feeling mutual for the talented pass catcher?

"I have a lot of interest in Tennessee," Ambles said. "I feel very good about Tennessee. I have been talking to Coach (Lance) Thompson a lot; I just called and talked to him a couple of days ago. He is a great coach and is very easy to talk to."

According to Ambles, Coach Thompson is working on getting him to take an unofficial visit to Knoxville.

"I was supposed to come up for the spring game but went to Alabama instead," Ambles said. "It was just closer and one of my teammates was going so I went with him."

Where does Tennessee stand with Ambles?

"If I had a top five they would be in it," Ambles said. "I really don't have a favorite right now; other schools I'm looking at include Florida, USC, Oklahoma and Alabama."

Ambles has been to Rocky Top at least three times, and is impressed with the Knoxville campus.

"I actually went to the Florida game there last year," Ambles said. "It's the loudest stadium I have been to, it's crazy."

Coach Thompson apparently has made an impression on Ambles.

"Coach Thompson is very cool," Ambles said. "He is very straight forward, I like that. He is a good guy to be around."

Another person that Ambles has been impressed with is head coach Lane Kiffin.

"He is so young," Ambles said. "I like that, he can relate to his players easier than some of the older coaches that are recruiting me. Coach Kiffin has also coached wide receivers a lot, so I know I would be coached up well if I chose Tennessee."

Will Ambles make an early decision?

"No probably not," Ambles said. "It will probably be National Signing Day when I make a decision."
