Where will Scout.com four star linebacker Dexter Moody end up signing with?
The former Georgia signee who has been released from his national letter of intent has found the school he wants to attend; now he is waiting for the official offer.
InsideTennessee.com caught up with Moody Thursday afternoon to get the latest on his recruitment.
"I took an unofficial visit to Tennessee last week," Moody said. "It was great; I like it there a lot. I feel that it's the right place for me."
According to Moody he is awaiting word from the Tennessee coaching staff whether or not the Vols are going to extend an official offer.
"Right now I don't have an offer from them," Moody said. "If they offer I will commit and sign. They are telling me that I should have their decision by the end of next week."
Moody also cleared up some things about his current academic situation.
"I have my grades in order," Moody told InsideTennessee.com. "I just have to pass the graduation test in science and I will retake that in July. If that comes back ok I would be eligible this fall at the University of Tennessee."
Moody has always wanted to play in the SEC. "That hasn't change," Moody said. "Marshall is the other school I'm still considering. Hopefully I get the offer from Tennessee and become a Vol."
Now the big question is, will the University Tennessee offer the standout defender a scholarship? Stay tuned to InsideTennessee.com for the latest in regards to the Moody situation.
