One of the nations top wide receivers recently picked up an offer from the University of Tennessee this past week.
InsideTennessee.com caught up with Indiana wide out DyJuan Lewis to confirm his interest in the Volunteers.
"Tennessee has a great football program," Lewis said. "I definitely have a lot of interest in them. In fact I'm planning on attending one of their camps."
Lewis, a 6-foot-2, 190-pound athlete who was clocked in the Chicago combine at 4.47 recently, is currently rated as a four star prospect by Scout.com. He is rated as the 28th best wide out in the country.
Lewis admits that he isn't very familiar with the Tennessee football program, but is looking forward to meeting the new coaching staff in person and plans on taking a trip south to Knoxville sometime this summer.
"I want to get to know the coaching staff better," Lewis said. "They just started recruiting me, but they are coming on strong. One of their coaches came by our school."
Lewis wants to take several visits this summer to get a better feel for some of the schools that have offered him. He currently has offers from Colorado, Michigan State, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Oregon, Missouri and Tennessee to name a few.
"Hopefully I will narrow things down later this summer after checking out some of the schools first hand," Lewis said. "I'm excited about the upcoming summer and season, and will continue to work hard so I will be able to be the best I can be."
