Kiffin expecting a lot of summer campers

With Tennessee's summer camp only a few weeks away, several recruits are hoping it will be their chance to impress Lane Kiffin and the UT coaches. In that mix is Clinton High School QB Darian Stone. The 6'1 185-pound senior threw for 1,842 yards last season and rushed for over 900. In the process he racked up 20 TD's in the air and 10 more on the ground for the Dragons.

Stone has had contact with several teams—MTSU, Louisville, Kentucky, Syracuse, Mississippi State, and Vanderbilt—but doesn't have any offers just yet.

When asked what other camps he was considering attending, he was quick to cite UGA's and plans on attending summer camp at Tennessee.

"I really like Georgia at this point and am looking forward to attending camp down there again." Stone said he already attended the Elite 11 camp held in Athens last month and liked what he saw.

When pressed for a time frame on his decision, Stone indicated he would probably wait until after the season in December or January.

However, the senior made it clear that his main focus is to continue to improve and hopefully help his team do the same after their disappointing 6-5 finish last season.
