Denarius Moore out 8-10 weeks

Tennessee's Denarius Moore underwent surgery Wednesday but should return to full participation within 8-10 weeks.

UT head athletic trainer Jason McVeigh made that prognosis after doctors placed a screw in Moore's broken bone in his left foot. Drs. Greg Mathien and Russell Betcher of Knoxville Orthopedic Clinic performed the surgery at UT Medical Center.

Moore, a 6-1, 190-pound junior wide receiver, caught 11 passes for 271 yards and 2 touchdowns last fall. He led the team with a 24.6 yards-per-catch average.
