Vols Land Big Eric Young
The 6-4, 270-pound Young out of Comprehensive High School in Union, S.C., confirmed the news to Inside Tennessee this afternoon., "I committed to Tennessee," he said. "The visit went great and my commitment is solid." Young who was projected to stay in state and play for either Clemson or South Carolina indicates he won't take a scheduled visit next week to North Carolina. Perhaps the best athlete among the nation's top offensive line prospects, Young runs a 4.78 time in the 40 and graded out at over 90 percent in games last season. He also saw time on the defensive line and could conceivably play defense in college. Inside Tennessee will bring further details on the his commitment later today.
