It's no secret that the Tennessee Volunteers are in search of a few good men to play on the UT offensive line.
The Vol coaching staff is using this off week to go over their areas to make sure they haven't missed anyone who could help this already strong recruiting class.
It doesn't matter if a prospect is already committed or not, this coaching staff isn't scared to go up against anyone.
"I'm committed to Auburn right now, but I'm still going to take other visits," Coleman said. "I want to keep my options open and visit a few other schools that I have interest in."
Is the University of Tennessee one of those schools?
"Yes I have interest in Tennessee," Coleman said. "I grew up cheering for the Vols. I have always been a fan. They have a new coaching staff and I have been getting to know Coach Frank Wilson a lot, he is really cool. We are talking about setting up an official visit to Knoxville."
Coleman is familiar with Rocky Top.
"I love their stadium," Coleman said. "I love the attitude and confidence of this new coaching staff. I like how easy Coach Wilson is to talk to."
Coleman committed back in the summer to Auburn; he hasn't been to the Plains on game day but saw the campus twice this summer.
"I liked the environment there," Coleman explained. "I understand its fun on game day there."Coleman was also impressed that Coach Wilson made a stop by yesterday to evaluate the talented offensive lineman. "They must have a lot of interest in me," Coleman said. "UT stopped by the school yesterday, that says a lot."
Coach Wilson and UT Recruiting Coordinator Ed Orgeron are very familiar with Olive Branch during their tenure at Ole Miss. They had a lot of success at the school that borders the state line and the city of Memphis.
