InsideTennessee.com has confirmed through multiple sources that Tennessee wide receiver coach Frank Wilson will officially become the running backs coach and recruiting coordinator at Louisiana State University later this afternoon.

Wilson, a New Orleans Louisiana native, spent three years as running back coach at Ole Miss under Ed Orgeron.

After the entire coaching staff was dismissed at Ole Miss, Wilson spent one season at Southern Mississippi as the running backs coach and recruiting coordinator. He was hired at Mississippi State under new head coach Dan Mullins, but opted for a job on Lane Kiffin's staff at Tennessee.

Wilson is expected to receive a substantial raise at LSU, coaching the running backs and also being the team's recruiting coordinator.

An official announcment from LSU is expected later this afternoon.
