There is a need for linebackers at the University of Tennessee.
According to Jackson, his official visit was perfect at Rocky Top.
"It went really well," Jackson told InsideTennessee.com. "I loved the campus, the people, the players on the team and I really liked the coaching staff. I even liked the teachers I met while I was on campus."
Derek Dooley and Lance Thompson stood out to Jackson.
"Coach Dooley really loves it at UT," Jackson said. "He has a plan and is excited about being in Knoxville. He is a great guy, someone you can believe in."
Jackson, a 6-foot-3, 225-pound athlete, expects to play linebacker at the college level.
