One in-state offensive lineman grew up liking the Orange and White, now Trovante Thompson is hoping and waiting for interest and an offer from the Vols.

Thompson, an offensive guard from Memphis Whitehaven High School, took an unofficial visit to Rocky Top last season and came away very impressed.

"I love the game-day atmosphere there, it's like no other I have ever seen," Thompson told InsideTennessee.com. "The fan support at Tennessee is incredible. The way the coaching staff treated us, it was great."

Thompson has been invited to the Tennessee camps this summer and although he will be unable to attend this weekend, he hopes to make a visit later next month.

"Our entire team is going to a two-day camp in July," Thompson explained. "I'm hoping to show out and get to know their coaching staff better."

Where does Tennessee stand with Thompson?

"They are definitely one of my top favorites," Thompson said. "I also like Ole Miss, Arkansas and Alabama, I'm hearing from all of those schools."

Thompson plans on attending camp at Memphis and perhaps Ole Miss.
