One Tennessee high school prospect has picked up several offers; there is one offer out there he is still trying to achieve.
McMinnville High School offensive lineman Cody Robinson attended the first annual Derek Dooley offensive and defensive line camp held in Knoxville on Saturday.
With recent official offers from Kentucky and Vanderbilt, Robinson is currently holding nine offers in all. Growing up rooting for one particular school, the University of Tennessee, Robinson admits he would love to have a Vol offer, but isn't taking what he has for granted.
"All offers are good," Robinson told InsideTennessee.com after Saturday's camp. "I thought I had a good camp today. I have a great relationship with all their coaches. We will just have to wait and see."
According to Robinson and several other campers from Saturday, the UT coaching staff made it clear that they will watch and evaluate film of the one-day camp before extending new offers.
"They told us to be patient," Robinson said. "A Tennessee offer would be a good offer, but I already have some good offers. We will just have to see how it goes."
Robinson's father Ray played for the Volunteers, giving the younger lineman a team to cheer for growing up.
"There is no doubt I grew up Orange and White," Robinson said. "I'm very open to all of the great schools recruiting me and who have offered me. There are some great schools on my offer list."
Robinson now will continue to work hard this summer, and if another offer comes, it will be another thing for Robinson to be happy about. Rest assured there will be more offers, but only time will tell if there will be one from the University of Tennessee.
