Volunteer fans can hope that Torrey Campbell will think even more of the University of Tennessee football program after he has seen it firsthand.
"Right now Tennessee is probably either No. 1 or No. 2 on my list," Campbell told InsideTennessee.com. "I'm staying wide open right now, but Tennessee is definitely in my top five and I can't wait to check out the campus this summer."
In fact, Campbell plans on taking a visit to Knoxville by the end of July.
"The next couple of weeks are going to be really busy," Campbell said. "I'm getting ready to go to Iowa in a couple of days. I will go to Tennessee some time in July."
While Campbell won't reveal a clear-cut favorite, he has narrowed his choices.
Campbell, a 5-foot-11, 180-pound running back and athlete explained what position Tennessee is recruiting him for in college.
"They want me to play cornerback," Campbell said. "I like Coach (Darin) Hinshaw a lot. I have talked to him a lot and I have talked to Coach (Justin) Wilcox some. They seem to be great coaches."
