One of Tennessee's high prospects can already tell that Derek Dooley is making a difference at the University of Tennessee.
Saturday was the second trip for Brentwood Academy athlete Derek King to Rocky Top in the last four months. In that short time, King can notice some little things that Dooley is already doing to rebuild and restore the traditions at the University of Tennessee.
"I think Derek Dooley is an incredible coach and even a better man," King said. "He is already doing things to turn this program around in the short time he has been there. That's impressive."
King spent most of Saturday with the new coaching staff getting to know each coach and seeing some parts of the campus that he hadn't visited before.
"The visit went really well," King told InsideTennessee.com. "I got to see some new parts of the campus. It was impressive."
King currently plans on making a decision following his official visits. Will Tennessee get an official visit from the Nashville athlete?
"Most definitely they will," King said. "I like Tennessee a lot."
It appears that Tennessee helped its situation with King.
"My interest in UT definitely increased after this visit," King stated. "They definitely moved up some. I have liked Tennessee from the beginning. I don't have one favorite, but they are definitely one of my top two."
