Top 10 Countdown for UT Fall Camp storylines

For the second straight summer the Tennessee football program enters fall football camp, which begins Aug. 4, with a lot of unknowns. This is the second straight fall camp that the Vols will report to in Knoxville under a new head coach.

There are several questions surrounding the program and new Head Coach Derek Dooley. We have decided at InsideTennessee.com to attempt to be a little like David Letterman and do our own Top 10 Countdown to the major storylines that are likely to unfold this fall for Volunteer fans and supporters.

We will do this feature over 10 days, taking a look at the top storylines that we could see this fall. Please realize this story is the opinion of the author and doesn't reflect the overall feelings of InsideTennessee.com. This is to help stimulate conversation and discussions in the Rocky Top News forum.

Coming in at No. 3:

Will the Tennessee offensive line be better than expected?

I personally think that this offensive line has a chance to be better than last year's squad. They will be bigger, more athletic overall and they have a fighter's chance to be a lot better.

The key question will be how will this unit adapt to its third straight offensive line coach, Harry Hiestand.

Last year's Coach James Cregg did an outstanding job with this group and undoubtedly got more out of this unit than most would have.

Who will be the center for the Vols?

Will it be Cody Pope, Ben Gooch or Victor Thomas?

One positive for Pope is that he can play a lot of different positions.

Others that have to have great seasons this fall are JerQuari Schofield, Jarrod Shaw and Dallas Thomas.

Kevin Revis, JaWuan James, Zach Fulton and Carson Anderson are expected to compete and add extra depth to the unit.

Going back to the main question, this group definitely has the opportunity to be better than last year's group. They will have big shoes to fill, but it can be done with a lot of hard work.
